Well, OK, there is one constant, and that’s the intense local dreaming culture. It’s a place where you know you’re driving on sacred land as soon as the barge deposits you here. Editor O’Keefe gives a bit more scope on this with a wild piece of research on the local bushrangers of yesteryear.
