GYMPIE MUSIC MUSTER

The Gympie Music Muster is set to run this year from August 28-31 at the beautiful and normally peaceful Amamoor Creek State Forest Park. The park provides a perfect setting for this quintessential Aussie event, with over 50 hectares of land, camping facilities, plenty of hot showers and toilets, and a central entertainment precinct. Located just 40 kilometres southwest of Gympie, it’s an easy two-hour drive north of Brisbane.
Over the last 33 years, the continued growth of the event has allowed an originally purely country music focused event to diversify into related genres including folk, bluegrass and blues. This year’s lineup is bigger and better than ever, and is sure to have something for everyone. Headline artists include Lee Kernaghan, John Williamson, Kasey Chambers, The McClymonts, Bob Evans, Josh Pyke and many more.

TOYOTA RECALLS CURRENT GENERATION HILUX AND PRADO 150

Toyota Australia have recalled approximately 142,900 current generation Hilux vehicles built between April 2004 and December 2009 and 2,050 current generation Prado 150 vehicles built between September 2009 and June 2010.
The recall is due to the possibility that the spiral cable, which is part of the supplementary restraint system (SRS) located between the steering wheel and steering column, may become damaged when the steering wheel is repeatedly turned. If the spiral cable is damaged, the SRS airbag warning light will illuminate and the driver’s airbag may not deploy in the event of an accident, which may increase the risk of injury to the driver.
There have been no reports of any accidents or injuries as the result of this condition. This recall is a preventative measure only and it is not expected that all vehicles will experience this condition.
Drivers can continue to drive their vehicle, however if the SRS airbag warning light on their instrument panel illuminates they should contact a Toyota dealer to have their vehicle inspected.
The repair work for all vehicles will involve the replacement of the spiral cable assembly. In most cases, this will take approximately one hour to carry out and all repairs will be conducted free of charge to vehicle owners.
